Privacy Policy

• Account details — name, email, avatar, base or installation, and an optional DEROS date.
• Contact details — phone, contact email and pickup notes you choose to store. These stay private until you share them.
• Marketplace activity — listings, photos, saved searches, favourites, holds, reviews, and messages.
• Technical data — device push subscription, approximate view counts, and error logs used to keep the app working.

Your phone number and contact email are never shown publicly and are not part of a listing page. They are revealed to a single buyer only after that buyer pays a hold deposit on your item, and only for the fields you marked as shareable. You can change or remove them at any time in your profile.

To operate the marketplace: showing listings, matching saved searches, delivering messages, processing holds, preventing fraud and abuse, and sending the alerts you have opted into. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

• Payment processing for hold deposits (card details go to the processor, never to us).
• Cloud database, storage and hosting for the app and its images.
• Email delivery for account, digest and notification emails.
• Web push delivery for device notifications.
• An AI vision service that reads listing photos to suggest details and screen content.

• Turn any push or email category on or off in notification settings.
• Mute or block another member to stop their alerts and messages.
• Edit or delete your listings, saved searches and contact details at any time.
• Request an export or deletion of your account data by emailing privacy@pcsswaps.com. We action verified requests within 30 days.

We keep marketplace records while your account is open and for a limited period afterwards where we need them for fraud, tax or dispute reasons. Because members serve at bases worldwide, data may be processed outside your current country of residence.

PCS Swaps is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
